What this campaign collects, why we collect it, and how to get it deleted.
Last updated August 10, 2026
This site is run by Baldino For El Segundo City Council 2026. We collect as little as we can, we do not sell any of it, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.
What we collect
Only what you type into a form on this site. There is no account to create and nothing to log in to.
- Sign up for updates: your email address, and nothing else.
- RSVP to an event: your first and last name, your email address, your phone number if you give one, whether you are coming, how many guests you are bringing, which of the ways to help you ticked, the delivery address if you asked for a yard sign, and anything you write in the note box.
- Email us: whatever you choose to put in the message.
What we do not collect
We do not ask for your date of birth, your party registration, or your voter file record, and this website does not collect them.
Like every website, the server that hosts this one keeps short-lived technical logs that include the address your browser connected from. We do not use those to work out who you are.
Why we collect it
To tell you what the campaign is doing, to know how many chairs to put out, to get a yard sign to the right house, and to follow up when you have offered to help. That is the whole list.
California law requires campaigns to report certain information about contributions. If you contribute, that reporting is handled separately from this website and is governed by Fair Political Practices Commission rules, not by this policy.
Who else handles it
A small number of outside services help run the campaign. Each holds your information under its own privacy terms, and we send each one only what it needs.
- Attio, our contact database, which is where supporter records live.
- Mailchimp, which sends the campaign email.
- Our email provider, which delivers RSVP confirmations and carries messages sent to our address.
- Render, which hosts this website and the small program that receives the forms.
- Plausible, which counts visits to pages. It sets no cookies and collects nothing personal, so it cannot tell who you are and we cannot ask it.
Advertising
We are not running any advertising or tracking pixels on this site. No Meta pixel, no Google Ads tag, nothing that follows you to other websites. If that changes, this page will be updated to say so, and the date at the top will change with it.
What we never do
We do not sell your information, rent it, trade it, or hand it to another campaign or committee. We do not publish your name as a supporter unless you specifically told us we could use it.
How to stop hearing from us
Every campaign email has an unsubscribe link at the bottom. One click and you are off the list for good, including if you sign up again by accident later. You can also email us and we will do it by hand.
How to see or delete what we hold
Email info@baldinoforelsegundo.com and ask. We will tell you what we have about you, correct it if it is wrong, or delete it, and we will do it within a reasonable time. You do not have to give a reason.
One exception: if you have contributed, we have to keep the records the state requires us to keep.
Children
This site is not aimed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you think we have, email us and we will remove it.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, the date at the top of this page changes with it. The version here is always the current one.
